We had our first snowfall on 11/2/06. Granted, it isn't much, but it did stick on the ground for a little while. While everyone knows how much I hate winter and snow, there's no denying that it is pretty, well ok, the first snow fall is pretty - 
after that - no way!!

I agree that waking up to new-fallen snow is pretty. HOWEVER, after that, it's all down hill.
In your pictures it looks more like ice to me. Th first snow fall is always so much fun.
Ya know everytime I come to your blog this picture just reminds me of how gloomy it is up there. I always miss it in the summer when you have all the pretty pics of your flowers and the bright green grass and the bright blue water in the pool...but this...thank god for NC!!!!
